Eleven

My son turned 11 Monday. We bought him a water slide for his birthday. It was a huge purchase, but we figured the kids would enjoy it all summer long. It is quite fun, as proven by the eight kids we had over for his party. They all had so much fun they didn’t even stop for food or drinks.

I’ll admit, I went down it myself. It is quite fun!

Finishing up the school year.

We are finishing up the school year here at my house. The has been the best and most challenging school year ever, in terms of homeschooling. I feel such a sense of accomplishment with what my kids learned this year, and how much they enjoyed the process.

Next year, I will be adding my five year old to the mix. She is beyond excited. I’ve already ordered her curriculum. I am not sure how it will be to teach a kindergartner along side a ninth and fifth grader. We shall see.

We will be done in about three weeks. Until then, my time here will be sparce. I do still check blogs pretty much everyday. I just get lazy about writing here, or even leaving comments. But, I’m around.
